Terms of use

These terms apply to the website chiodsipho.hair and to purchases and workshop bookings with Kaarslab in Amsterdam. Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

Studio & website

Kaarslab operates a candle studio and workshop space at Haarlemmerdijk 55, 1013 KE Amsterdam. Website content is informational. Prices and availability may change; the board in-studio prevails for walk-in purchases.

Products

Candles are handmade. Slight variations in colour or scent intensity are normal. Follow the care guidance supplied with each product. Keep burning candles attended and on a stable, heat-safe surface.

Workshops

• Open seats are confirmed by email or phone
• Please arrive on time; late arrivals may miss scent selection
• Cancellations more than 48 hours ahead can usually be rescheduled once
• Private groups are confirmed only after we accept your date in writing

Payments

In-studio purchases are paid at the counter. Workshop fees are agreed when you book. Consumer rights under Dutch and EU law apply to distance contracts where relevant.

Liability

We take care when preparing products and hosting workshops. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or other rights that cannot be waived.
